Project Loch is Google’s planned hyperscale data center campus located on a 221-acre site in Midlothian (Chesterfield County), Virginia. As a core piece of Google's multi-billion-dollar digital infrastructure expansion in the state, the campus is designed to feature three massive data center buildings, each supported by its own dedicated on-site power substation to handle high-density cloud and AI workloads.
While local zoning and fast-track tax incentives have already been approved, the project is currently clearing federal environmental reviews regarding its localized wetlands impact, positioning it to break ground following Google's nearby Meadowville development.
