The Irish data center firm, Echelon, is expanding into the Italian market through a key partnership with Starwood Capital Group. They have acquired a 37-acre site outside Milan for their new LIN10 campus, a €3 billion development that is beginning immediately.

The location chosen is a former printing plant in Treviglio, near Bergamo. Echelon plans to utilize the existing building before erecting a second large facility. This project will feature on-site solar power and utilize HVO instead of diesel for generator fuel.
