In November 2024, DayOne (formerly GDS) received approval to develop a hyperscale data center campus in Chonburi Province, southeast of Bangkok. The project, valued at 28 billion baht ($831 million), will be the largest data center in Thailand and is scheduled to begin operations in 2026, with deployment planned in multiple phases.

In 2025, Chonburi Tech Park (CTP1) was expanded by 16.3 acres of adjacent land, with additional capacity planned.
