AirTrunk is expanding its Melbourne campus. This expansion will include the construction of the remaining three phases of the six phases in MEL1 campus that will deliver over 100MW of new IT load. the project would see more than AU$1 billion (US$665m) of investment over the 18 months. Set on over 21.7 acres in West Melbourne, AirTrunk launched MEL1 back in 2017. The site will offer 32,000 sqm (344,445 sq ft) of technical space across 34 data halls once fully built out.
