Location

Bridge Data Centres' MY06 campus sits at 17 Jalan Digital 7 in Sedenak Tech Park (STeP), Kulai, Johor. STeP was formerly the Kulai Iskandar Data Exchange (KIDEX), the data centre zone of Johor Corporation's 7,290-acre Sedenak Technology Valley. JLand Group now markets the valley as Ibrahim Technopolis. Keppel, K2, Princeton Digital Group and Vantage operate nearby.

Land and ownership

The campus covers about 38 acres. Bridge Data Centres Malaysia III Sdn Bhd holds the site. Bridge Data Centres (BDC) was founded in 2017. Bain Capital owns it through WinTrix DC Group, formerly Chindata Group, which Bain took private in December 2023. In 2026 Bain began marketing a stake in BDC.

Development

Bridge broke ground in November 2021 and announced a RM2.5 billion, five-year investment in December 2021. The first phase used prefabricated, prefinished volumetric construction: close to 400 containerised building and facility modules were made in China and assembled on site. Later phases added immersion cooling. Bridge now markets MY06 as a 15-building campus.

Tenants

TikTok owner ByteDance is the anchor tenant. Chindata reported every MY06 phase as supporting its anchor client.

Power and water

Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) supplies power. Bridge lists a 275 kV power intake. An on-campus intake substation adjoins TNB's Pencawang Masuk Utama Sedenak (275/132/33 kV). The campus uses fresh water; Bridge's treated-wastewater plant serves its Ulu Tiram site.
