Malaysian Operator and Chinese Tech Firm to Develop Digital Park in Perak

Malaysian data center developer Cahya Suria Services and Chinese tech firm Suzhou EnnoThing Technology have teamed up to develop a digital park in Perak, Malaysia known as the NexQuantum AI Digital Park. It will be developed through a joint venture called NexQuantum 1 and is valued at approximately RM1 billion ($253 million).

NextDC Launches Data Center Near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Australian data center operator NextDC has launched KL1, its first international data center, near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, representing an investment of AUD$1 billion ($716 million) and expected to deliver 65MW of capacity once fully completed.

Prime to Construct Two Data Centers Outside Austin, Texas

Prime DC has submitted plans to build two data centers near Austin, Texas named AUS01 and AUS02 and located at 1395 Bob White Road. With a planned investment of $400 million, each facility will span 380,000 square feet (35,303 square meters).

Amazon Purchases Virginia Data Center for $65 Million

Amazon has purchased a 110,000-square-foot (10,219-square-meter) single-story facility in Manassas, Virginia, that it had previously been leasing at 7505 Mason King Court for $65 million as it pursues new development in other counties to increase its  1.7GW capacity in the state.

Equinix Builds Fourth Data Center in Malaysia

Equinix is building its fourth facility in Malaysia, a US$190 million facility spanning 14,300 square meters, which will house over 2,200 cabinets at full build-out,located less than 1 km from its KL1 facility in Cyberjaya, a planned tech hub south of Kuala Lumpur that hosts several science and technology infrastructures.
