Italy Plans Europe’s Largest Data Center at Former Trino Plant

The mayor of Trino in northern Italy has revealed plans to develop what could become Europe’s largest data center with a €4 billion ($4.65 billion) investment in  the project, which is expected to bring regional benefits, including around 300 jobs.

Real Estate developer Panattoni has taken over a Meta Platforms-backed plan to develop a gigawatt scale AI data center on a 430-acre land in southern Wisconsin, spanning the towns of Beloit and Turtle.
