French data center company Nation Data Center has revealed it will be developing a second data center. The facility will be located in Val-de-Reuil in Normandy. According to a LinkedIn post from the company, it says it is proud to announce its second data, which it referred to as a fortress. NDC noted that the facility would be the country's first sovereign colocation data center to deploy backup robotics infrastructures to support its customers on their road to recovery after any cyberattack.

According to Nation Data Center, the new facility will span 75,350 square feet (7,000 square meters). The company also didn't reveal any other details of the facility. Nation Data Center was founded in 2020, and it is a subsidiary of Bakjy Group. Earlier in March 2021, NDC announced plans for a 32,000 square feet (3,000 square meters) data center near Rennes. The Rennes facility is scheduled to come online in H2 2023. There's no scheduled date for the Val-de-Reuil facility yet.
