A former US Air Force data center, used as a call center until recently, is up for sale in Michigan. Sitting on 3.6 acres in Iosco County’s Wurtsmith Industrial District, the single-story facility spans 13,100 sq ft (1,215 sqm).

It was originally a data center supporting Wurtsmith Air Force Base prior to its closure in 1993 and was most recently used as a data center and call center.

“With its history as a military-grade facility and extensive upgrades, this property is ideal for secure operations, administrative services, technology centers, or specialized industrial uses,” the listing notes. “The building is a slab, with the raised floor in the rear office and maintenance room.”

“After 30 years in business, we are downsizing our operations and making available a wide range of high-quality equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for organizations or professionals seeking reliable equipment at competitive value,” the company posted on Facebook last month. Items for sale included servers, network switches, routers, cabling, and various pieces of office furniture and supplies.
