A defunct HP/DXC data center in Michigan was sold and will be turned into an industrial space. According to RE Journal, manufacturing company Engineering Design Services purchased a 75,200-square-foot facility at 885 W Entrance Drive in Auburn Hills, Michigan, with the help of US real estate firm L. Mason Capitani. The Oakland County facility, once used as an office and data center, will change over the coming several months. The facility, once owned by DXC, was built in 1984 and is located on a 6.88-acre property, according to a 2022 CBRE sales brochure. It has four generators, two dual power feeds, and a 2.16MW total IT capacity.

EDSI was represented in the deal by Jason Capitani of L. Mason Capitani CORFAC International. The deal's terms were kept confidential. EDSI produces parts for robotic systems used in material handling, painting, and sealing. Once HPE and Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) combined their enterprise services businesses, DXC Technologies was established in 2017.
