NEXTDC has acquired a large greenfield property northwest of Geelong that appears intended for a future hyperscale campus. The land purchase is complete, but the company has not formally announced the facility, submitted a publicly identified planning application, or disclosed a development timetable.

NEXTDC is currently in the planning and development phase for its new GE1 Geelong data centre, located in the industrial precinct of Corio, Victoria.
