NEXTDC Locations

NEXTDC is currently in the planning and development phase for its new GE1 Geelong data centre, located in the industrial precinct of Corio, Victoria.

Delivering 16 MW of critical power to Melbourne customers, M1’s prime location sees it located less than 3km from Melbourne’s CBD and is the largest independent data centre in the city with 6,000m2 of high-density technical space.

In 2022, NextDC launched M3, the company's third data center in Melbourne, the capital city of Victoria, Australia. The facility is located in West Footscray, about 10km west of Melbourne's Central Business District.

In 2024, Australian operator NextDC acquired a data center (S6) in Sydney. The S6 site is located in Artarmon, in close proximity to the company's S3 data center.

Located in Macquarie Park, S2 Sydney is certified to Uptime Institute Tier IV for both design and construction, delivering fully fault-tolerant resilience for business-critical and regulated workloads.

Located in Petaling Jaya, KL1 Kuala Lumpur is NEXTDC's first international data centre, marking the company's expansion into Southeast Asia and strengthening Malaysia's position as a regional hub for AI, cloud and digital innovation.

Located in Adelaide’s CBD, A1 Adelaide is a next-generation data centre engineered to meet South Australia’s growing demand for sovereign, mission-critical digital infrastructure.

Located in Bruce, just 6 km from the Canberra CBD, C1 Canberra is a data centre engineered for sovereign, government-grade resilience.

NEXTDC are poised to expand their leading design, construction and operations of data facilities into Tokyo, Japan.

NextDC, a leading Australian data center operator, received approval for a 13.76 billion baht investment in a new hyperscale data center which will be located in Bangkok.

Located in Artarmon, less than 10 km from the Sydney CBD, S3 Sydney is a Tier IV certified data centre engineered for high-density compute, sovereign control and rapid digital growth.

NEXTDC has announced plans for its fifth data center in Sydney, known as S5 Sydney. The facility will be located in the Macquarie Park availability zone.

Located in Fortitude Valley on the fringe of the Brisbane CBD, B2 Brisbane is a Tier IV certified data centre engineered for ultra-low-latency access to hyperscale cloud platforms.

In 2021, Australian provider NextDC acquired the Edge data center site SC1 in Maroochydore, on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. The two-story building occupies 1,220 sq m, and give 290 sq m of technical space, enough for 84 racks.

Located in the Pilbara’s primary logistics hub, PH1 Port Hedland is a Tier III certified edge data centre purpose-built to support the high-density digital demands of Western Australia’s mining and resources sector.

Located in Malaga, 13 km from the Perth CBD, P1 Perth is a Tier III certified data centre designed to keep Western Australian workloads close to critical network, power and submarine cable infrastructure.

NextDC Perth P2 data center is located at 11 Newcastle Street, Perth WA 6000. The facility provides 12,000m2 of technical space with a target PUE of 1.15.

NEXTDC's NE1 Newman represents the company's second Edge data center in the Pilbara region. Construction of this facility commenced in early fiscal year 2024, following the acquisition of the land.

In 2024, NextDC acquired a 258,000 sqm (2.78 million sq ft) plot of land in Eastern Creek, Sydney, for AU$353 million (US$236.1 million) to develop a new data center named S7.

Australian data center company NextDC is building a new facility, SC2, in Maroochydore, Queensland.

NextDC's Auckland data center will offer 3,000 sqm (32,300 sq ft) of IT space with the potential to expand. The company aims to invest AU$140 million, with phase one coming online in the first half of 2026.
