The site, located at 201 Penndale Road near Wampum, was sold in March 2026 and spans roughly 382 acres. Switch has announced the project, but local officials said no formal development application had been submitted as of early June 2026. The campus is expected to use Switch’s closed-loop cooling design and benefit from the site’s position near major fiber routes in the greater Pittsburgh region.
