Singtel's DC West is located in Jurong Lake District, a commercial hub outside of the Central Business District. DC West is close to the Kingsland Data Center and Telin-3 in Singapore Data Center Park (DCP.)
The new data center is 7 stories, comprising 570,000 square feet of space and has power capabilities of up to 36 MW. The Tier 3-plus, high-security facility is connected to Singtel’s eight other data centers through an inter-DC fiber-optic network. Singtel has set up redundant East-West redundancy. the Kim Chuan Data Centres are 19 KM away.
The DC West data center cost $285 million USD (S$400m) to build and was designed to meet the standards for BCA Green Mark Platinum. Environmentally friendly features of the build include a diesel UPS and a cooling system which uses water reclaimed from the city’s sewage by the Singapore Public Works board.

Redundant power systems connect to 2 separate substations. DC West has a 2N design that extends to the data center cabinet.
