Keppel Data Center REIT owns the building.
In May 2018, Singapore-based Keppel DC Reit agreed to buy the Kingsland Data Centre in Singapore for SG$295 million (US$221m). The site has been renamed to Keppel DC Singapore 5 (KDC SGP 5).
Kingsland Data Center is the first multi-tier wholesale data center completed in Singapore in Q3 2015 by Kingsland Development, a 40-year-old real-estate developer. The 208,000 square foot five-story purpose-built colocation facility has 30MVA of redundant power supported by two diverse sub-stations.
Location
Kingsland Data Center is located at 13 Sunview Way, Singapore (627541). The location is conveniently located 5-10 mins away from connecting Highways namely AYE and PIE, and a short 5 mins drive to malls such as Jurong Point.
Cooling
The data center is equipped with N+2 Chilled water systems, with the option for additional DX HVAC systems for 2N cooling. In addition, all infrastructure services within the data center has dual redundant routes serving each floor to cater for concurrent maintainability.
