Data center real estate firm QLevr has proposed a $105 million data center project in Charlestown, Indiana.
The planned 12-acre facility, set to span between 55,000 and 60,000 square feet, would be located at the Shadow Lake Business Park right across from a residential area on Woodford Drive.
To address potential community friction over its environmental footprint, QLevr has stated that the facility will feature a closed-loop cooling system, require no tax abatements, create roughly 20 jobs, and fully fund its own utility upgrades.
