Metrobloks
Metrobloks is developing an AI-ready, scalable, and sustainable data center in the Detroit metropolitan area, with live capacity scheduled for Q4 2027. Purpose-built for high-density workloads, DTW-D1 supports liquid cooling to the chip for power densities beyond 150kW per rack, making it ideal for AI, HPC, and enterprise deployments.
Located just four miles from the Detroit Internet Exchange (DET-iX), DTW-D1 ensures direct carrier connectivity to Midwest metros and Canadian markets. The facility is situated next to the recently expanded DTE Southfield 120kV substation, with 100MW expandable capacity and dual independent feeds for added resiliency.
• Tier III+ facility (Uptime Institute standard, concurrently maintainable)
• Voltage: 480V or 415/240V to rack
• Redundancy: UPS N+1 (per hall), mechanical N+1 (lineup), N+4 (HU level)
• Cooling: Air, liquid, or hybrid (with chip-level liquid cooling available)
• PUE: As low as 1.3 regardless of scale
• White Space: 61,600 SF
• Standby Power: 2,750kW diesel generators (N+1)
• Ceiling Height: 16’
