The Dangjin AI Data Center is a proposed hyperscale facility developed by GS Group’s dedicated subsidiary, GS AI Infra, with a target operational timeline of 2030.
Located in the Godae/Bugok National Industrial Complex in Dangjin, South Chungcheong Province, the facility is designed to co-locate directly next to the 2.4 GW combined-cycle LNG power plant operated by affiliate GS EPS. By leveraging a "produce and consume locally" energy model, the campus aims to bypass grid transmission bottlenecks while drawing on in-house GS Group capabilities—including engineering by GS E&C and direct-liquid cooling fluids from GS Caltex.
GS is the tenth largest business group in Korea in terms of assets with core businesses ranging from petrochemical, energy and utilities, retail, to engineering & constructions. Digital and Eco-friendly are GS' future growth drivers to achieve sustainability.
