The data center project at the COMPASS @ Kota Seri Langat industrial park will be developed and operated by Global Data Infrastructure Sdn Bhd, a member of an international infrastructure development consortium.

The site's land was purchased from the park's developer, COMPASS IP Sdn Bhd—a joint venture between Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), KWAP, and AREA Industrial Development Holdings. The official project announcement does not specify the exact number of buildings that will be constructed on the 14.6-hectare industrial plot.
