BT Gateway Data Center (also called Project Royse) is a planned 100,000-square-foot AI facility in unincorporated Hunt County, just outside Royse City, Texas.
Filed in June 2026 by BT Gateway Data Center LLC, a Belltown Power–linked entity, the $384 million project was later taken over publicly by Houston-based Giga Energy. Giga says it will own and operate the site, use existing Farmers Electric Cooperative power rather than new transmission lines. The state accessibility filing is registered, but Hunt County cannot zone the land, and construction has not been publicly confirmed as started.
