DataBank officially opened its LGA3 data center in New York state in 2025. This new facility includes 110,000 square feet (10,219 sqm) of raised floor space, distributed across five data halls, and offers connectivity through five on-site carriers.

The LGA3 data center was previously a Verizon facility, which DataBank acquired in September 2021 for $23 million. Situated on a 34-acre property, the site also features a utility-owned substation capable of supplying up to 45 MW of power.

Following the December 2020 close of its purchase of zColo assets from Zayo, DataBank reported operating 60 data centers across 28 markets in the U.S. and the U.K. In October 2024, DataBank announced an approximately $2.0 billion equity raise led by AustralianSuper to support new campuses in Dallas, Culpeper and Atlanta.
