CyrusOne is a data center owner, operator, and developer that manages more than 50 facilities, with its footprint concentrated in the U.S. and Europe. The company is based in Dallas and was taken private in March 2022 by funds managed by KKR and Global Infrastructure Partners in a transaction valued at approximately 15 billion dollars including debt.

Its portfolio centers on hyperscale and enterprise colocation across multi-building campuses. CyrusOne has also pursued international growth initiatives alongside its core North American and European markets.

CyrusOne History:

• March 2022: Taken private by funds managed by KKR and Global Infrastructure Partners in an approximately 15 billion dollar all-cash transaction including debt.
• July 2015: Acquired Cervalis, adding four data centers and two disaster recovery sites in the New York metro.
• July 2014: Acquired Cervalis
• January 2013: Completed initial public offering on NASDAQ as a carve-out of Cincinnati Bell’s data center business.
• June 2010: Cincinnati Bell acquired CyrusOne for approximately 525 million dollars.
• 2000: Founded by David Ferdman.
