Chirisa Technology Parks (CTP) has acquired a vacant data center property in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for $5.5 million, signaling the company's continued expansion in the data center market. The 71,000-square-foot facility, originally built by BNY Mellon in 2006, comes with an additional 44,255-square-foot office building on the same parcel.
CTP plans to break ground on the site in early 2025, with an ambitious development strategy aimed at creating up to 100 megawatts of data center capacity over an 18-24 month period.
