60MW Data Center Planned in Närpiö, Finland

Finland
This site is a proposed data center development being advanced by Brunswick Real Estate Finland Oy on the outskirts of Helsinki. The project is currently at the land-reservation stage, with a formal zoning process still to follow, since the area is not yet designated for this type of use. City authorities are expected to review the reservation application through their standard planning process, with a decision to follow resident feedback. As with several of Brunswick's other Nordic projects, the company appears to be developing the site as landlord rather than operator, and the entity that will ultimately run the facility has not been named.
