Helsinki: Hyperco Acquires Equinix and Thales-Occupied Data Center in Helsinki, Finland

Hyperco has made its first acquisition as it takes over a property belonging to TS-Yhtyma. The company paid more than €35 million ($36.4m) for the property. The building is located at Myllynkivenkuja 4 in Vantaa, Helsinki, Finland. Thales and Equinix are also occupying the property. The building is located next to a power plant, and it has up to 181,900 square feet (16,900 square meters) of leasable area. It can also be expanded by another 70,000 square feet (6,500 square meters).
Equinix offers 19,805 square feet (1,840 square meters) of colocation space from the site across two floors. The acquiring company- Hyperco, was established in 2021. Hyperco said it aims to invest in existing data centers and largescale build-to-suit data centers in the next few years. The company announced last year that it would be investing around €200m ($243.4m) in developing and acquiring data centers in the Nordics.
