Bristolville 25 Developer: Lordstown

Lot Size: 133 acres

The Village of Lordstown, Ohio, has taken decisive action against AI data center development. In November 2025, the Lordstown Village Council voted to approve an ordinance officially banning all future proposals for data centers within the village limits.

This move was specifically triggered by a significant proposal submitted by Bristolville 25 Developer LLC. The developer had plans for a major data center project on a 133-acre land parcel situated near Tod Avenue. The massive facility was estimated to cover 1,650,000 sq ft (150,000 sqm) and require an enormous investment of $3.6 billion.
