  • Update: In April 2025, Bitdeer Paused Bitcoin mining related construction at Clarington, Ohio site (both Phase 1 and 2) as a result of advancing HPC/AI discussions. The Company maintains full optionality to reassess and resume the build-out for Bitcoin mining at a later date.

Bitcoin mining company Bitdeer entered into a 30-year leasing agreement with the Monroe County Port Authority for a site located at the Hannibal Industrial Park in Clarington, Ohio. According to the company’s announcement, the site previously featured an aluminum factory and has the necessary power infrastructure to host Bitdeer's mining operations.

Bitdeer plans to secure additional power at the site in two phases. The first phase is scheduled for delivery in Q3 2025, with the remaining power to become available following utility authority review.
