Project Patriot is a proposed data center and power campus spearheaded by Bilateral Energy on a 2,100-acre land parcel known as Knox Ranch in Granbury, Texas. Designed to support high-performance computing and AI workloads, the project includes plans for a co-located natural gas power plant (the Granbury OpCo 1 station) to provide independent energy generation.
While the city approved the necessary rezoning for the project, local residents have filed a lawsuit against city officials. The suit alleges procedural and open-meeting violations during the approval process, effectively freezing further development while the litigation plays out in court.
