NTT Global Data Centers' Itasca campus sits in the Hamilton Lakes business park in DuPage County, about 15 minutes from O'Hare, along Pierce Road and Arlington Heights Road.

Land. The campus began as a vacant lot north of Hamilton Lakes Drive, a former wastewater treatment plant site, that the Village approved for RagingWire in 2017. NTT later bought two office buildings at 1200 and 1250 N. Arlington Heights Road for $27.5 million in late 2023 and cleared them. In 2024 it annexed the 12-lot Marino Court subdivision east of Arlington Heights Road. NTT holds about 59 acres across four tracts.

Ownership. NTT Global Data Centers CH, LLC owns the original tract. NTT Global Data Centers CH4, LLC holds the Arlington Heights Road and Marino Court land. Tokyo Century invested in the campus in 2024, and Japan's JICT took a 30% stake in the joint venture in 2026.

Power. ComEd serves the campus. The first building takes four primary 34.5 kV utility feeds plus one alternate. NTT is building a dedicated substation with ComEd on its own lot to serve the later buildings.

Approvals. The Village approved the third building and the substation in 2023, the Arlington Heights Road building in 2024, and the Marino Court building in 2026. Itasca tightened data center zoning in 2026 and says the campus stops at five buildings.

Cooling. Closed-loop, air-cooled chiller plants with airside economization; no evaporative cooling towers.
