Cushman & Wakefield has listed a data center for sale at 256 E. Grant Street in Blair. The asking price for this facility outside Omaha, Nebraska, is listed as $1.76 million on the site and $1.5 million in the sales brochure.

The 7,564 sq ft (700 sqm) facility was built on six acres in Washington County in 2008. Information on the sales brochure mentions that it has the potential to expand to 40,000 square feet and plans for up to four data halls.

The C&W listing noted, “The building consists of 12-inch reinforced concrete walls (poured-in-place), is certified to sustain a direct hit from an F5 tornado, and has a biometric security system available. It also has copper installed under concrete floor to accommodate the installation of electrostatic dissipative flooring.”

Details about this facility are scarce online. However, a document by the City of Blair suggests that it was built by local firm Eriksen Construction for RDI Industries but was abandoned by its owner along the way.
