There is a data center building available for purchase in Topeka, Kansas. Topeka's 400 SE Jefferson Street is up for sale through Colliers for a price that has not been disclosed. The 16,350-square-foot building in Shawnee County contains a 10,500-square-foot data center and a 5,850-square-foot office space. The 1964-built, single-story structure underwent "extensive renovations" in 2001 and 2012. The facility is a data center for ISG Technology, an IT services and consulting company. ISG provides hosting, backup, networking, IT maintenance, cybersecurity, and VoIP services. The company was acquired by Twin Valley in 2011.
In 2012, the company unveiled plans to build a new data center in Topeka for a 2013 debut. It was ISG's fourth data center at the time, following facilities in Columbia, Missouri, Wichita, Kansas, and Kansas City. According to CloudandLocation.com, before being sold to ISG, the site was owned and operated by QTS. It is unknown when, if ever, ISG left the building.
