Microsoft Plans 38GW Of Data Center Capacity By 2032
Microsoft has revealed its plans to more than triple its data center capacity over the next five years, targeting 38GW by 2032, up from its current 12GW with spending continuing to rise, from $55.7 billion in 2024 to $115.9 billion and $145.3 billion in the following years, with $175 billion projected for 2027.

Ivory Coast Plans First State-Owned Data Center 
Ivory Coast is planning to build its first state-owned data center, being developed by Washington-based Cybastion Institute of Technology LLC at an estimated cost of $66 million, set to provide 1.73MW of IT capacity, 3MW of total power, 228 racks, and 10PB of storage.

Damac And Vodafone Türkiye Triple Investment In Data Center Project
Damac Digital and Vodafone Türkiye have begun construction of their planned data center in Izmir, western Turkey, with a $100 million investment, now increased to $300 million. The facility will be Vodafone’s second data center in Izmir and sixth in Turkey, making it the largest data center in the Aegean region.

Hscale Secures $1B Hyperscaler Contract For Spanish Data Centers
Bain Capital-backed Hscale has secured a contract worth more than $1 billion with an unnamed hyperscaler for capacity at its data centers in Spain. The facilities will support the client’s cloud and AI workloads, with the agreement potentially expanding to other Hscale data centers across EMEA.

Greenfield And Finsbury Infrastructure To Invest €360M In Milan Data Center
UK infrastructure developer Greenfield and Finsbury Infrastructure plan to invest up to €360 million ($418m) to develop a 36MW data center east of Milan, Italy, already securing 80MW of power capacity for the site, which will support AI, cloud, and enterprise workloads while boosting regional investment and employment.
