Virtus Raises £2.45bn to Fund Data Center Expansion
European data center operator Virtus Data Centres has secured a £2.45 billion ($3.25bn) financing package from a consortium of 13 banks to support the development and expansion of its data centers across the UK and Europe, including its 78MW Saunderton campus in Buckinghamshire and future investment in London19.
Colovore Files Plans for $430m Data Center in Fort Worth, Texas
Colovore has filed plans for Colovore Alliance, a 156,500 sq ft (14,540 sqm) data center in Fort Worth, Texas. The $430m facility will be built on vacant land at 14700 Heritage Parkway, with construction scheduled from December 2026 to December 2028.
Intro Group Commits $270m to Egypt’s Kemet Data Center
Egyptian conglomerate Intro Group plans to invest $270 million in the first phase of the Kemet Data Center project in Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone. The 80MW facility will cover 80,000 sqm (860,000 sq ft) and be developed in two phases, expected to be partially powered by solar energy.
Crusoe Plans $4.8bn Data Center Campus in Jayton, Texas
Crusoe has filed plans for two data center buildings in Jayton, Texas,both facilities to be located along Country Road 233 and P2390 at an unspecified address in Jayton, Kent County, with each data center spanning 759,260 sq ft (70,540 sqm), with total investment in the site estimated at $4.8 billion.
Skybox and Prologis File Plans for Fourth Data Center in Hutto, Texas
US data center developer Skybox and real estate firm Prologis have filed plans for another data center near Austin, Texas, planned as a single-story core-and-shell facility intended for future use as a data center, with Skybox investing $550 million in the project.
