A new 54MW data center is planned for the North Dallas Corridor, with Northampton Capital Partners and Provident Data Centers targeting a late 2027 launch. The exact location has not been disclosed.

The companies also agreed to develop additional inference-ready data center sites across US markets. Simpson Thacher & Bartlett advised Northampton, while Haynes and Boone provided legal counsel and Citizens Capital Markets served as Provident’s financial advisor.

Northampton is an alternative asset manager focused on energy, digital, and other critical infrastructure, with around $1.1 billion in assets under management. The firm invested in Texas-based Blueprint Data Centers last year. Provident Data Centers is the data center division of Dallas-based real estate developer Provident, founded in 1991. Its projects span Texas and several other US states, including Indiana, Alabama, Missouri, and Pennsylvania.
