Edgeconnex expands in Benelux region

EdgeConnex has announced that it is to enter the Belgian market with the construction of a data center campus near Brussels in Ternat. The first facility will comprise 4 data halls supporting over 20MW of capacity. According to the company, the site is expected to be ready in the first quarter of 2023.

Dick Theunissen, managing director for EMEA of EdgeConneX, said: "Our legacy is to quickly and successfully deliver data center infrastructure anywhere our customers require."

Adding: "As we continue to expand both our Edge platform and hyperscale campuses globally, our data center to be built in Brussels will give us capabilities to meet our customers' requirements for hyperlocal and hyperscale data center capacity in the vital and growing Benelux region."

EdgeConneX has 90 sites in 54 regions.
