Teraco, a Digital Realty owned South African data center operator, has broken ground on its latest facility known as JB7, located at the Isando Campus in Ekurhuleni, east of Johannesburg.
Teraco Data Environments
Founded in 2008, Teraco Data Environments operates carrier neutral data centers in South Africa.
Over the past decade, Teraco has focused on growing its ecosystem of carriers, content, financial services, enterprise and service providers. Its offering is underpinned by providing clients with direct access to Africa’s largest Internet Exchange Point (IXP), NAPAfrica, which includes all the benefits of interconnection via the Teraco platform.

Teraco's JB3 facility spans 45,000 square metres of building structure, including 12,000 square metres of data white space.
Teraco JB4
Located in South Africa, the JB4 facility spans 80,000 sqm (861,110 sq ft) and features 14 data halls which comprise 17,000 sqm (182,985 sq ft) of space.
Teraco JB5
Teraco, a South African data centre operator, launched its JB5 facility in 2025.
