Tata Communications is an Indian telecommunications and digital infrastructure provider that operates globally. Its portfolio includes network services, cloud connectivity and platforms, cybersecurity, unified communications, and content delivery.
In data centers, Tata Communications formed a strategic partnership with ST Telemedia Global Data Centres in 2016 by selling 74 percent of its India and Singapore data center business and retained a 26 percent stake, and it continues to hold a 26 percent minority interest in STT GDC India.
Following this transaction, the company focuses on enterprise connectivity and managed cloud services while maintaining minority exposure to data center colocation in India through STT GDC India.
History:
