Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SGX: Z74) is the largest listed company in Singapore and one of the largest telecommunications companies in Asia.

Those living in Singapore may be familiar with the company’s mobile services. Singtel’s business can be divided into three major divisions, namely Group Consumer, Group Enterprise, and Group Digital Life.

With a total investment of IDR 1.4 trillion, the facility is scheduled to begin operations in the third quarter of 2025. The data center campus will be constructed in three phases across an 8-hectare site.

Singtel's DC West is located in Jurong Lake District, a commercial hub outside of the Central Business District. DC West is close to the Kingsland Data Center and Telin-3 in Singapore Data Center Park (DCP.)

Singtel's data center subsidiary, Nxera , and Telekom Malaysia (TM) have commenced construction on a new data center facility in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.

Singtel operated from two data center buildings at 38 Kim Chuan Road: KCTC-1 and KCTC-2. In 2024, the Singaporean telco announced the closure of KCTC-1 as part of its shift towards newer, AI-focused facilities.

The Singtel footprint stretches across 600 million mobile customers in Asia, Australia, and Africa. From the slide above, we can see that Singtel has stakes in multiple telcos around Asia. It’s worth noting that these Asian telcos all hold strong positions in their respective countries.
