Wildflower: Brookhaven, NY

Year Planned: 2029
Lot Size: 79 acres

The proposed Wildflower Brookhaven Data Center is a $1 billion digital infrastructure development situated on a 79-acre industrial parcel in Yaphank, NY.

Spearheaded by developer Wildflower through its WF Industrial subsidiary, the project envisions transforming existing logistics space into a 549,000-square-foot facility. Designed with a closed-loop water system to minimize resource strain, the large-scale proposal is currently in limbo due to a combination of New York's statewide moratorium on facilities 50 MW or larger and an 18-month local moratorium enacted by the Brookhaven town board following community concerns over grid capacity and land use.
