Through a joint venture partnership, Lincoln Rackhouse acquired 4.3 acres in a sale-leaseback agreement with a leading US mobile network provider located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Lincoln Rackhouse will develop a 35,000 square foot data center, secured by a 20-year lease with renewal options. The facility is 100% leased.

The Site Plan application proposes 5,600 square feet of office area, 3,659 square feet of interior loading/storage-industrial area, and 14,727 square feet of warehouse area for a total of 23,997 square feet of gross floor area (GFA). As per the Land Development Code Section 16-277 definition of gross floor area, elevators, stairwells, meter rooms, required parking spaces within a parking garage, balconies and ancillary power equipment rooms are not included in the calculation. Therefore, the proposed 9,563 square feet of battery and electrical rooms are excluded from gross floor area. The total proposed building area is 33,560 square feet.
