T-Mobile is expanding its data center in Prague, Czech Republic. In "response to high demand" for data center services, the telecommunications company disclosed that it had begun construction on a new wing of its DC7 facility in the Prague 15 neighborhood. The four new data halls will have a total area of 15,070 square feet and room for up to 780 racks, bringing the total site area to 37,675 square feet. The expansion will increase capacity by 3MW, bringing the total to 10MW. The company stated that it would invest $36.8 million.

T-Mobile began construction on DC7, the company's seventh location in the city at the time, in 2017, and it launched in 2018. In addition to its three locations in Prague, the company currently operates centers in Brno and Ostrava. The building has a PUE of 1.3 and employs indirect free-cooling with adiabatic aftercooling. T-Mobile said the company is preparing an on-site photovoltaic (PV) installation. Bank iD, the Czech Land Survey and Cadastral Office, Raiffeisenbank, and the Czech Export Bank are reportedly among the institution's existing consumers.

T-Mobile launched a new data center in Warsaw, Poland, in 2021. The 46,200-square-foot, three-story center at Szlachecka offers more than 18,300 square feet of colocation space across eight data centers, according to the telecommunications company owned by Deutsche Telekom.
