Switch Datacenters Amsterdam 2 (AMS2) is a premium colocation datacenter located in the municipality of Woerden. The AMS2 data center was previously used by Dutch bank ABN AMRO before being acquired by Switch in 2014.

This former computer center was many years in use by a Dutch bank by its strategic location and was taken over in 2014 by Switch Datacenters as part of a sale and leaseback agreement wherein the location is provided with a thorough technological upgrade in which a unique and efficient indirect adiabatic cooling system is applied. Ultra low cooling pPUE 1.04 this location can be viewed as one of the most efficient data centers in the market.

In addition to the high efficiency data center is designed to meet the stringent Tier 4 requirements and the highest demands in terms of security and continuity.
