Norwegian telecommunications company Telenor, energy firm Hafslund, and investment fund HitecVision are collaborating to construct a data center in Oslo, Norway, through their newly established joint venture, Skygard. The partners aim to develop three data centers in the capital region.

Construction has begun on the first facility in Hovinbyen, Oslo, following a joint investment of NOK 2.4 billion (approximately $200 million). The data center is scheduled to commence operations in the first half of 2025.
