The facility at 970 Green Valley Road in London, Ontario, was originally established as a core asset of Blackiron Data, the data center division of Primus Telecommunications. In April 2013, the site was acquired by Rogers Communications in a $200 million deal that included seven other Canadian facilities. It operated as Rogers London 1 until December 2025, when it was sold to InfraRed Capital Partners. The site currently operates under the Qu Data Centres brand as LON1, with Rogers maintaining a presence as a major network provider and anchor tenant.
