Prologis has secured unanimous conditional use approval from the Allen Township Board of Supervisors to convert its 1.01 million-square-foot warehouse into a data center.
The retrofitted facility will utilize a closed-loop cooling system to eliminate ongoing water consumption and integrate onsite solar power to offset grid demand. The project represents a significant shift for the Lehigh Valley logistics corridor and has already prompted nearby Allentown to advance strict new zoning regulations (Bill 20) to manage incoming digital infrastructure requests.
