Renewable energy firm ILI Group is planning a new, state-of-the-art AI-focused data center campus, the Cato Facility, in Auchtertool, Fife. Named after a Stoic philosopher, this facility is one of three data centers in a planned network across Scotland’s central belt, collectively dubbed "The Stoics."

The Cato site is currently in pre-planning, and if permission is secured, the first phase of the development could come online by 2027.
