Google acquires Project Maize data center campus in Indiana

Google established its first custom data center in The Dalles, Oregon, in 2006. Through multiple expansions, the facility now encompasses more than 350,000 square feet of data center space in the Columbia River Gorge region. Google has invested a total of $1.8 billion in its data center campus in The Dalles, Wasco County, Oregon, creating employment for over 200 people on-site.
