Short Code: Building A
Site planned for 2026 and has expansions through 2028
Lot Size: 270 acres

Google has officially confirmed plans for a new data center in LaGrange, Georgia, taking over a project previously spearheaded by Thor Equities and its data center division, Form8tion. Thor Equities originally acquired the 270-acre site in 2024, positioning it for "immediate deployment" with a dedicated substation and significant in-place power infrastructure.

While Thor Equities is no longer involved in the development, Google is now advancing the campus to fill a vital void in the local utility system. Beyond the physical build, Google has committed to funding all necessary infrastructure upgrades and has pledged $1 million toward local energy affordability programs to ensure the project benefits the broader Troup County community.

The purchased plot includes a 506,220 sq ft (47,029 sqm) facility, complete with a dedicated substation capable of 100 MVA transformation.

The site is also fully equipped with transformers, water, sewer, and natural gas infrastructure which will enable the "immediate deployment" of a data campus.
