A gigawatt-scale data centre campus is planned near Atlanta, Georgia. Developer Stillwater Development has filed a Development of Regional Impact application for the Stillwater Technology Park in Lovejoy, around 25 miles (40km) south of downtown Atlanta.

The proposed campus at 11760 Panhandle Road could span 3.47 million sq ft (321,910 sqm) across up to 15 data centre buildings on a 400-acre site. The development would include two on-site substations and a 1.25GW grid connection from Central Georgia EMC. The first phase could be completed by 2031, with the overall project valued at up to $13 billion.

Stillwater Development, part of the Stillwater group of companies, primarily develops residential communities. The company first filed to rezone the Panhandle Road site in Lovejoy in December 2025. While Clayton County has imposed a moratorium on new data centre applications in unincorporated areas, the restriction does not apply within the city of Lovejoy.stillwater_tech_park_lovejoy_GA.width-358.png
