Energy Vault: Snyder, Texas

Site planned for 2027 and has expansions through 2028

The SnyderAI Campus, located in Scurry County, Texas, is Energy Vault’s flagship powered AI infrastructure facility developed in partnership with Crusoe Cloud.

Built on energy-ready land alongside Energy Vault's existing grid-connected battery energy storage system (BESS), Phase 1 features 10 prefabricated, air-cooled Crusoe Spark™ modular units for AI model inference and workload training. Energy Vault purchased and leased the containerized modular shells back to Crusoe to enable deployment timelines measured in weeks rather than years. The site includes N+1 electrical redundancy, modular scaling for Phase 2 expansion, and a targeted commercial operation date of Q1 2027.
