Project Atlas, a proposed hyperscale data center campus spanning approximately 270 acres in south Coweta, has been officially withdrawn by Beale Infrastructure. The multi-phase plan called for up to four phases, each featuring a 200,000-square-foot facility, but the project was halted in late March 2026 following a 4-1 Planning Commission vote recommending denial of the necessary rezoning.
Prior to its cancellation, the high-density site was designed to utilize an air-cooled, closed-loop water system capped at 50,000 gallons daily alongside a strict 65-decibel noise limit. The development was also projected to become one of the region's largest taxpayers, intended to fund local schools and water infrastructure upgrades.
